I have felt, very often, that I have lived other lives. Especially when I was little. I have strong memeories of people and places that I could remember, but had never experienced in this life.

James Van Praagh has a few really good books out that explain about reincarnation and the afterlife.
1) Talking to Heaven
2) Reaching to Heaven - first choice read
3) Heaven and Earth

His books have answered a bunch of questions that I had about life and things.

I had often (as others) felt this too, but like lots of us I didn't know how act on those feelings. A few years back I was fortunate enough to meet one special soul. "Best place I've ever been" (see blog on 360)
Since then I've been blessed to meet several like minded souls, and continue to study, and embrace knowledge in soul growth, spirituality, astrology, and reincarnation. There are several good books out on this subject, a couple I recommend Astrology For The Soul by; Jan Spiller; about your North Node's a must read for anyone on the spiritual path to fulfilling ones soul destiny. "You'll find in these pages, your fears your hopes, what you really want and how you keep yourself from getting it"! Messages from Michael by: Chelsea Quinn Yarbro; 2 quotes from this book; "Almost all phobias are traumas remembered from a former life", "Truth is the highest good, and Love is the highest truth" I'd list more, but I'm sure I'd offend closed minded peoples. Hope this helps you.

reincarnation is the belief in India that if:
- you have had a good life and been good to other people
- you have been charitable and kind and did good deeds
then you would be reincarnated after you died into a wealthy being or an animal high above others on the food chain(lion, tiger..)
Egyptians also followed this idea.
Studying egyptians, buddism or hinduism would help you understand better

PS. As a child you're life is like half dreaming- half awake (What I Call Life- book)

I don't exactly "know" anything for sure but i've got a theory which i got from part of a book i've read. the books not about re-incarnation but it provoked some thoughts about our origins and made me compile my mad theory...

If you get the feeling of de ja vu - like you've been here before - we more than likely have in one of our past lives. We live each life till we get old or die or inevitably reach the end of that life. Then if there are any mistakes or lessons we learnt in "this" life we are re-icarnted into a new body (with our same soul) and we get to live again. the advantage we have is learning from our mistakes and each time we are re-incarnated we live a happier more fulfilled life. Only when we have learnt all there is to learn and reach the end of that final life with all the knowledge of living - we will then not be re-incarnated. i think that's when we will know "the real meaning of life!"

it's a crazy theory i know - but it's changed the way i feel about life and i believe in re-incarnation of the soul and mind. so although i may not have answered your question i felt i should share my views on the subject.

Thanks for listening.

then you should look into Buddhism or Hinduism to find out more. reincarnation and enlightenment to break the cycle of reincarnation is the basis of these faiths.
