I love my Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It's very easy and seems to take less elbow grease. You need to be careful with this product however, it's a mild abrasive (like very fine grit sandpaper).
It took crayon off of a wood door and also off the logs in my log home that had been there for well over 10 years but it made the wood a little lighter in that spot.

Just depends on what type of walls you have. If it's paint - I use semi-gloss and you can wipe them down with 409 or something of that nature. Worked for me. Have a good day!

it depends on what you're cleaning off the wall - i usually just wipe my walls down with a solution of warm water, ammonia, vinegar and a small pinch of baking soda. but grease requires a degreaser like orange glow.

mr clean magic erasers. just be careful. with too much presure they will take the paint off the walls.

Either Mr Clean, ****+Span or Murphy's Oil. I clean for people and those are a few things I use.
