I was on the pill 17 years before going off to conceive. My periods stayed lighter for a few months. They gradually got heavier. Don't worry about how heavy your period is, just make sure you know if and when you are ovulating so you can conceive. Good luck!

Well I'm not sure about the pill part. But my periods are like that too. But that is just normal and sometimes you might just come on not even in 28 days.

ive never been on any birth control and have had light periods. 3 days all the time. It just depends on how your body adjusts

Think yourself lucky.. I have to do the washing up every evening.
Also that doesn't sound too out of the normal. I shouldnt worry. But the Doc is the best person to ask.

Periods can take sometime before they can regularise after such a long time on the pill.Eat a well balanced diet and let nature regulate itself.

this is perfectly normal because you still have the hormaones in your system form the pill and it will probably take awhile to return to its pre birthcontrol state so hang in there.
