We are trying to explain it to our 3 year old and he keeps wanting to call it a dog or bull.

The Beast is a mixed combination between a Lion and a man. The head of the beast and the body of a man, lion shaped.

It's a beast period! Dogs and bulls dont mix in reality so telling your 3 year old that makes no sense. I'd go with imaginary beast!

I would think it is after a wolf of some type. It could also possibly be a mix between a wolf and a dog. THen there is also the theory that it could be a bull. Frankly, I don't know.

If you're explaining it to a 3 year old, then I would just tell him he's a wolf-man. He's mixed with a lion-the fur, a wolf-the teeth, and a bull-the horns. I dont think he'll remember all that though.

hes a mix of a few animals like the bear the lion a wolf.mostly all beastly animals.
