i just got an interview with bestbuy tomorrow and i wanted to work there or mervyns. But i dont know if i want to work there cause i dont know which one serves more hours. I need as many as possible. But i dont know which job i should take cause i love music but i like retail. ????? idk help

Just spend some time looking up the hrs. and the pay think what would be the best for you and your life and people around you and follow that and you will make the right choice.

If you really like music, then take the Best Buy job, but lots of luck to you. Retail environment is NO FUN!!! The rude customers and the long hours. If you are not a happy server, then the customers won't be happy no matter where you work. try to be more focus on yourself. go to your local community college and earn some job skills. Is that what you really want to do is work RETAIL all of your life?

If I were you, I would rather enjoy music lying on the couch. Working in retail is really hard work. The only thing you can get from working there...is to know that it's really hard work, 10am-10pm shifts...sore knees etc.
Try studying some short term courses. There are even 6 months diploma program and 1 year degree courses available in the form of online/distance learning.
Other than that, you could also pick up skills in graphic design, web-design, SEO...etc. These courses don't even need certification. It is more important whether you know or not...not your credentials in the form of paper qualifications.
Remember, Bill Gates and Michael Dell spent their teenage years in their garage, not working in some retail store. Don't waste your life away. :-)

Best buy is retail. Id take the best buy job. Better benifits for come winter time for christmas presents.
