It's called a cover letter and it usually accompanies your resume. You write a professional letter indicating your skill set and how it applies to what the bank does. For instance, if your previous experience was customer service, you talk about that experience and how it can help you with the bank position, or, you can talk about whatever your previous job experience was and how it relates to the job you are applying for.
The mistake people make is talking about what they want in a job. Your letter needs to address the needs of the bank and why you are the best candidiate to fill those needs. As you formulate your letter, think about "if I was the bank, what kind of applicant would I want in this position?". This should help you formulate your letter. Good luck!

Are you qualified to apply in a bank? is it your job description? because if im in your shoe, i will tell the bank that i want to work there or become part of them because it has a good name, a very efficient, reliable and effective banking system. And envision the bank will grow more bigger.

Only you know why you want to work in a bank. I can't help you there. I used to work in a bank and hated it.

It's a fair question since you will be meeting customers on a rather personal level. Most people are sensitive when talking about their money, & other business, so they need to know that you are capable of being the kind of person who can do that.
Tell them how much you like people, & like helping them.
