If the detroit Lions were winning a football game, 99-3, with 5 seconds left in the game.....a ******* tsunami would flop over ford field and kill everyone (or some other equally retarded extreem).
The Lions definately do have a curse. They could do everything right, and completely control a game, but not seal the deal...
I've been a lions fan, living in NY & ME, as far back as i can remember.
Am i the only lions fan left, outside of the state of Michigan?
I pryan for the Detroit Lions. One day...they will make it (and i hope to see the day)...

I remember when the Liosn were at least respectable. It was not that long ago. But Matt Millen has had the chance to turn the team around, and has failed miserably. What you need to do is put pressure on William Clay Ford, Sr. to dump his no-good ***.
A few years ago, Detriot was 2-14 the same year Carolina was 1-15. Carolina turned it around and was in the Super Bowl. Detroit did not. Fewer years ago Cincinnati and Detroit were tied, recordwise. Cincinnati won the division last season. Detroit was still putrid. Matt Millen is incompetent.

If you own a home, start improving your property, one Sunday at a time.
If you don't own a home, start doing something on the side to save up a downpayment, one Sunday at a time.
If neither of those things are up your alley, do anything you can do, to not put money into the Lions camp. Maybe even start a "Fire Matt Millen" campaign? (although, I'd double check the spelling)
Things to hang your hat on: Tigers still in it and Hockey is around the corner.

It does not pay to root for the Lions...They ALWAYS find a way to lose as they proved Sunday against Minnesota. My advice is to pull for the Wings, Pistons and Tigers...The Lions have the football version of the curse of the Bambino!
Who might we have traded in the late 50's that put the curse of the Bambino on us?

I think you just said it - Go Tigers. Glad to see them knock the Yankees out early. Enjoy the baseball postseason for now.
However, that being said you are a true fan and it's in your blood. I've said the same thing about the Browns. The season is too short. Go to the game, hand out with the other die-hards and root for Sims to bang some people around.
Hang in there Bro.

People still care about the Lions? PT Barnum was right. There is one born every minute.

ANY team that has or has had MATT MILLEN connected to it is a LOSER, pure and simple. I have more managerial and scouting talent in a pimple on my rearend than that guy has in his entire body!
