All totaled I've won about a billion dollars, euros, francs, pounds sterling, lira, copecs, dinars, pesos, I'm related to about 50 Nigerians, several Indonesians. A couple hundred of my relatives died in plane crashes, car crashes, wars, cancers, I don't even open them any more!!!!!!!!! The shame is someday one might be true and I'm going to delete it. LOL

Beware of "lotterys" that you didn't enter. My stepson just got slapped with a 1500.00 dollar charge for cashing a check he "won" in a foreign sweepstakes that he didn't enter. He even checked with the bank it was drawn on to see that those people did indeed have an account with them. Now his credit is ruined cause he can't just pay it back right away. Then i just saw this same scam warning posted at my credit union.

Assume it is a scam. Have a good look at the email if it says Dear Sir/Madam. You know it is a scam cause if you purchased a ticket and it was registered they would have your name and details so why didnt they phone you?
I get a Win Notification at least once a week and now just automatically Spam them.

If you didn't enter, you couldn't win.

If you DID enter, send a reply to the email. If it doesn't bounce, it could possibly be legit. They still don't need your account information. You will have to claim your prize through recognized channels (info on the back of your lottery ticket).

It's spam, and a scam. Don't listen to it. Once my parents got e-mails saying, your long lost cousin is in Nigeria. Send 50,000$ and you will get 50.000.000. don't do it. of course they did not respond to it.
