The Republicans benefit because many Americans know that the Democrats favorite legislative tactic for more money is to dismantle the military and they realize now is not the time to be soft.

My guess is the republicans because they will use it to show how negative comments by the dummycrats made N. Korea feel safe to do what they want because of the divisions in this country.
