Let's hope the guy is all right.
If your nose ring was made of a copper-based alloy, then it may cause severe physiological damage to the liver in as little as 36 hours before being excreted.
Symptoms of cupric poisoning include jaundiced skin, an unnaturally pale complexion, and bleeding lips, often accompanied by swelling of the hands and / or feet.
This was a recent victim in the US (the guy in the right), shown with the surgeon who performed an emergency operation to remove the item. Note the permanent effects:

Ha! Well, I could make endless puns on the word "ring", and the orifice it will eventually pass through, but the reality is that it's probably magnetised itself to that badge of gold stars you wear on your overalls. Is it like a toddler sticker chart?

How can u possibly even conceive of suing someone for your disgusting behavior? I hope you remember this each time you eat out and that someone sneezes repeatedly on and around your food!

What if he's thoughtful enough to bring it back when it reappears? You can't sue him then. Will you put it straight back in or wait until it's dry?
