Sorry to tell you this, but I've heard that all Gamestop stores (Software Ect., EB World, ect.) are not accepting any pre-orders or reservations due to problems that occured either other systems releases (like the PS2).
In case Gamestop changes their mind (which is unlikely), the EARLIEST anybody can pre-order a Wii will be October 19th (31 days before it's release).
Safe Bet: Take at least a day off to camp out in front of your preferred store.

CONSOLE - you spelled it wrong! Anyways go to EB Games, Wal-Mart, Target, Toys-R-Us, or Amazon all online only. That's my guess, because I have not heard of a preorder yet.
