Please be specific. Is it the weather? The people? Is it the culture or lack thereof? Really want to know.

I love living in florida! It's amazing here as long as you don't mind the heat. I'm also one of those people that love the city ( I live in Orlando) So i have non-stop entertainment here. Its so amazing to live no more than 20 minutes away from theme parks and downtown. Summer time here is also incredible. We have some great beaches here and we also have the best water parks. So...In conclusion... Florida is amazing.

theres so many people - its just a melting pot. The beach is 2 min away so thats great the weather is great it only rains in the daytime. I'm german and i live next to a jewish family an italian family and across the street is a black woman with a british husband. The people around you in FL depend totally on money if you have alot your going to be happy here but if you dont - you better not come.

everything you could want is near by. clubs from cheap mexican ones out west to top notch ones on palm beach. any resturant and store. florida is the center for entrepenuers too.

it used to get cold in the winters here. but due to global warming it doesnt. I have pair of jeans and 2 of khakis. no jackets or anytihng like that.

Ummmm... Insurance is outrageous, traffic sucks, cost of living is unbelievable, hurricanes are scary, and the humidity is HORRIBLE. But! The winter is wonderful and I'm close to the beach. And moving down to South Florida from North Carolina... has been an awesome eye-opener! I never knew that all these cultures existed in one place! I've met people from all over the world and I'm learning so many things! I'm almost embarrased by how closed-minded I was before moving down. BUT... I'm still homesick and would rather be living in North Carolina. All the bad seems to outway the good.

I live in St Pete. No state taxes, wonderful weather (summer-not so much), friendly people, great place for cultural events, most interests/hobbies/lifestyles are represented in numbers, colleges on every corner (a little exaggeration) theme parks close, camping close and the hurricane parties are great!

the weather is awesome for the most part and the people are friendly. rent is cheap but local pay sucks a little. fun around every corner or at least close by.

Well, I have only visited but if I lived there the best thing would be being so near the ocean, even if you're inland you're not all that far away.

i think it is the weather (although i hate it, its too hot!), and also the fact that anywhere you go in fla, yr never more than an hour or so from the ocean, and all this coastline....just think of the condos!! LOL....

sunshine is also a big plus...

im in orlando...

I wouldn't suggest living in Florida, to my worst enemy. Lived there for 12 years, in the west palm beach area.

There is always something to do. Water-park, them-park, beach park. The list goes on and on.
