Only if you eat more. Some birth control pills can cause an increase in appetite. If you eat more and don't increase the amount of exercise you do, then yes, you will gain weight. However, if you're careful and sensible about what you eat, then you won't.

It just depends on the persons body.....i've been on birth control for 3 years now and i havent gained any weight....and my friend who recently got on it has gained a couple pounds....wish it would make me gain some weight :)

sometimes women notice weight gain after starting the pill. but the only thing that makes you gain is eating more and exercising less. if you can control your appetite and workout, you shouldn't have any trouble.

many people will say no but they will and they make it hard to lose the weight but it all depends on which one you take there one that so say your not suppose to gain weight.

my friend put on alot of wieght when she started birth control, it got to the point where she shad to stop using that type
