Silly people if the green light is on then it's plugged in! Sounds like one of two things.Either your video card or the drivers for it are messed up or the most possible answer your monitor went out.Got to any thrift store and you'll find a used monitor dirt cheap.First borrow someones and see if you still have the same problem. If you do then it has the be your video card or driver for it.Hope this helps

It would seem that you have more then one computer or you are using a friend computer. Simple step would be to try the monitor on another computer. If it works then it is with your computer. If it does not then you should start shopping for that new flat screen 21 inch monitor you have had your heart set on.

If you have no picture on your monitor. How are you going to see the answers to your question. And better still. How were you able to post the question in the first place? Mind bloggling. Anyway. You may have some dials on the side of your monitor. Try adjusting them. If no joy. Need new monitor fella.

Is there a pin broken?? examine that. Is the video card working?? try uninstall video card and reboot. it might locate it back. Are the drivers as much as this point? Did you alter decision and it cant cope with it? yet many cases the wee pins bend, if the cable is taken on and stale.... ask your self while did it take place and what develop into I doing??
