I accidently used my credit card for porn and now every once in awhile I get web charges from random companies. They don't even notify me except on my bank statement, so I just want to get my credit card info off the internet so this doesn't keep happening.

Blame it on the heather!
Reporting your cc as stolen would be a lie, your cc company will discourage you from doing that and they'll advice you to try and find out what these payments are for and then you are supposed to contact these people and get them to stop charging your cc.
This is very time consuming.
I simply put the card on the heater until bits of it start to melt then take it to the bank and simply say "I forgot it on the heater".
They then do the rest for me. (eg: give me a new card + number)I might even try to find out who those people charging my cc were, but If I am not successful in tracing them I know they won't be able to get any more money from me just the same...

Unfortunately, you can't. You just need to cancel your credit card and explain to the bank or credit card company that you have unauthorized charges. Tell them you want to "dispute" the charges because you didn't authorize them and they will walk you through the steps. Then you have to cancel your credit card and get a new number. If you do a lot of online shopping, it's best to cancel your card every 3-6 months anyway and get a new number. It's the only way to prevent theft and identity theft!

You can't. The only thing you can do is contact your card issuer and tell them that you did not authorise those charges.

OR

Ring the card company and report the card as being LOST. (You have not actually lost it but they do not know this - so cut it up and destroy it). Your card issuer will then have to issue you a new card with a new number, expiry date etc. Anyone trying to charge your old card will be declined.

NOTE: The lost method is the only way to get a new card and number. If you simply explain that the charges are not authorised your card issuer will NOT change your card but will require you to report each fraudulent transaction (which in turn means you have to check your statement EVERY month).

Your best option is simply to report it as lost. Make up some phoney story - flushed it down the toilet, dropped it in the shredder etc.

you can't get it off the internet. Once they have your details that is it. Best thing you can do is inform your bank and cancel it and perhaps have your credit card number changed! Best you contact your bank asap!!!!

dispute the charges with your credit card company they have a lot more resources than you do. Then cancel your card and have them issue you a new one.

Those are usually scams. Try contacting the companies or contacting your bank to put a stop payment for them.
