What does ur resume look like? And also first appearances are very important, the minute you walk in to ask for an application, there may be a manager there to see ur character. Back to the resume thing, u need to make it really simple and esay to read. Use bullet pooints instead of sentences of what you've, experiences, etc. Name and addresss should be in the center. You can find many examples online. Some organizations also offer sessions to teach you how to behave during interviews, you need to learn how to sell urself into the company to get the job. What are your job experiences, r u good w/ team work, r u late often on n on. Good Luck!

try having someone you trust take an honest look at your resume and make suggestions on how it could be made better...the other thing you said is you were turned away from some jobs...does that mean you left them a resume and they didnt call you??..if thats what you mean then you need to take a more proactive approach by following up with these places to see if they have considered your application yet..when you follow up it shows you want the job and makes you stand out as a go getter..the next thing is to enlist the help of friends..ask if they have any postions available where they work or if they know of any postions..usually the best jobs come from word of mouth.....good luck...and keep trying

You have a couple of options...go to your local unemployment office..they have tests that you can take that show your aptitude in different job fields and they have lists of jobs available. You can go to one or more temp agencies, where you are tested to find the job that you are best suited for...some charge fees, some do not...they locate jobs for you...many companies go thru temp agencies to find permanent employees. I had my resume on Monster.com and a couple other ones...never really got anything worthwhile...try the temp agencie or your local unemployment office..that's the best bet....and also ask friends, relatives, neighbors about any job opportunities they may know about. Good luck!!!

There are a few possibilities.
1) You resume might be too brief
2) It looks like a me-too resume
3) There's nothing compelling that makes you stand out amongst the rest.
We have a lot of resources and articles at http://www.purchaseresume.com
You could also drop me an email with your resume. I can take a look and tell you what's wrong.

It is fairly safe, but not totally. Don't put your address on your resume. Create a new email just for job searching since you will receive a lot of spam. It gets you exposure to recruiters and headhunters which is good, but also to spammers which is not good.

To post and wait is for people who don't want to work. 5 resumes sent daily is the best way to get your name out there. Finding a job is full time work, so don't wait until they call you, get out there and pound the pavement!

5 resumes sent a day will keep poverty away.

First thing i would do is change my resume. Have someone look over it and give suggestions to make it better. Try local government employment offices and have them give you some tips. That is why they are there.
