I don't really have a problem, now...

but I know several people who SWEAR that PRO-ACTIVE solution is the best product on the market...

I can back their story, because I knew them before they began using it, and they did have really bad acne...

Now, they have complexions of models!

Good Luck!

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

OK lets be real, acne's a b**** and it's the worst thing to get over but its not impossible. The best thing out there for it right now is Acutane, but, it is not for everyone that's why it is only obtained by a Dr's prespription. Some people tend to be allergic to the medicine, for a few percentage it does not work for, but usually it does, for everyone, even though after you stop using it the acne comes back, like with every other medicine after the treatment is over. It is really harsh on your body though, for women they can't take contraceptives or have kids due to some serious problems that can occur while taking it, other people experience horrible peeling and dryness.

Apart from all this, i used to have acne, apparently not bad enough for Acutane (according to my dermatologist) but it was still bad (at least i thought it was), so i was recommended this over the counter medicine called "Nature's Cure". They have two medicines, one formulated for men, and another for women, and among these they have the topical creams and face washes as well as pills that work from the inside out. I personally tried the cream and face wash. Since i started using it i have yet gotten another pimple, seriously, my face is progressing miraculously, alot of the blemishes are gone, almost all. Smooth skin, it does dry it a little bit but barely, everyone's complimented on it. A few more weeks and my face will be completely clear. To help with this i also get facials done, everyonce in a while to help with the deep cleaning, which helps alot to remove stubborn clogs and blackheads and so forth.

I know not all of these over the counter medicines work for everyone, like myself that i've tried Proactive and Murad and all those things and i actually got my face worse due to them. But this one worked, see if you can find it in a neighborhood pharmacy or drugstore, or supermarket (which some of them also sell them), or online in their website.

About a diet, the main cause of acne is not your diet, eating chocolate or drinking too much soda, it's an old wife's tale, BUT a good diet will prevent excess oils in the skin which will clog pores and cause breakouts.

The main cause of acne are your body's hormones, we can't fix those with a change in diet. For me i go to the gym about 5 days a week, and excercise, this helps your metabolism break fatty acids that may affect your hormone production, as well as providing an overall well being for the body and get you nice and fit, a little blood to the old pump is sometimes the best remedy for current health problems as well as future undeveloped ones.

Stress is another factor that people a lot of the time don't consider, it does affect your acne because too much stress will trigger hormone production in the body and well you know the rest. Try to take life easily, i know sometimes it's hard but you gotta try, for my stress, excercise wipes it all out, and it usually does for a lot of people so think about it.

Well i hope this helps you and good luck with what ever you end up trying.

I know this might sound like an obvious answer -- or a sales pitch -- but I have friends who SWEAR by Proactive. I have zero affiliation with the company, so I am only going off what others have told me. If you prefer something with fewer chemicals, Origins has a new line out seems to have gotten good responses from those with acne problems.

no too much intake of vitamin c is fine , whiteheads believe it or not are the easiest to be treated . just don't pop them because they WILL swell up and become cystic leaving unattractive scarring. if you have oily skin wash it twice a day , it helps so much to clean your face 2x a day. if you have dry skin , make sure you moisturize so your face is hydrated , you can even apply a layer od acne spot skin treatment if you like. now onto products , a product for TREATING WHITEHEAD LIKE A MIRACLE, mario bedescu whitehead lotion treatment, its a brand for celebrities but it works wonders so its REALLy worth the price...for cleanser i recommend you use the neutrogena acne was OR if you have sensitive ance prone skin you should use cetaphil , %100 dermatologist recommeded :) if you want a toner try using cliniques, you wont regret it , and now for moisturizer , the currently best drugstore moisturizer would be the clean and clear pore perfecting finishes, its perfect because it comes with spf 15 and its super matte so your whiteheads own breakout even more, and if you want a mask to do the trick , try shiseido nourishing mask , its around $40 for one but its worth the price. i hoped i helped Good Luck :)

I used to until I starting to go to the doctor. He gave me a prescrition for antibiotics and it cleared up in a week. I take 2 a day, every day.
Another thing is to wash your face every day, and DON'T EAT CHOCOLATE!!! It causes acne believe it or not. Even a dermatologist will tell you. Don't eat it for 2 weeks, you'll see the difference.
Anyways, see a doctor and they'll give you some medicine! Hope it works!!!

If you have spots (the occasional zit) then anything you can find in the chemist generally works... but if you have alot of zits I would say go to see your doctor. I had really bad acne this time last year but I have been put on the pill and on Eurythamycin and it's really helped. So if theyre bad go to see your doc. If not, don't worry about them. Worrying only makes them worse!!! xxx

Your doc may be able to give you help so go see him. Keep your hands away from your face and try a tea tree face wash, it keeps my skin nice. You need to try all the different brands to see what works for you. Give each one a couple of months to see if you are getting results.
Good luck.

well you didn't give much info. See a dermatologist who will prescribe oral meds and topical gels and creams it's the best course to take rather then trying and wasting money on all those acne products sold in stores.
