it would have to be either CSI or 24. 24 is an original classic which is very character driven with continual suspense and excitement at every turn while finding time to slow for the poignant emotions between characters. It makes a change from other shows that can get rather predictable at times, especially when some of the stories are recycled over and over from other shows.

Heroes, One Tree Hill, Project Runway, The Nine, Lost, Everybody Hates Chris, The Office. They're all so different, so it's hard to pick just one.

But as for current shows? I don't find much good anymore. I still watch Smallville, and I've had some interest in Heroes, but it has potential to run astray of my beliefs and I won't want to watch it if it makes me mad.

I'm with blink fan - I will never tire of Friends - their chemstry was magic!
I have not seen a suitable replacement since - and as much as I like Matthew Perry - I hate his new show.

My favourite new show is "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." Such intelligent TV.
Ongoing, I'm a huge fan of "Grey's Anatomy" and "ER."
