The meaning of dreams is as individual as the person who dreams it. Don't buy "dream dictionaries."

Think about it - not everyone feels the same way about chewing gum. Some people think it's gross, some think it's tasty, some think it's rude... so chewing gum in a dream can't have one singular meaning. Or horses. Some people love horses, some people see horses as a symbol of freedom, some are terrified of horses. So again, a horse can't carry the same meaning for everyone.

You have to take the elements of the dream that stood out and think about how it made you feel. Then think about things that are going on in your waking life that also make you feel this way. Dreams are the subconscious trying to sort out your life, sort of like a filing cabinet. When you open the cabinet to file, you'll pass over old files that will stimulate images from that time so we'll have dreams about something current yet someone from our past might be there. Your brain creates this images using information already stored up and familiar to help you resolve conflicts, issues, things that are painful, etc.

Just off hand it seems that maybe there are adults in your life that are putting you in positions you aren't comfortable with - and I don't necessarily mean sexually, that may have been the brain using something extreme to get your attention. Your dream is highlighting these emotions as a way to get you to deal directly with the issue.

I have taken thanatolgy class: the study of dreams and have come to realize that dreams mean different things to different people. You must be able to analyze your own dreams in order to understand this. I can tell you a few things . . .

People (especially children and the elderly represent a part of yourself)

also the words beating up = fighting something
touched = figure out the emotion of it maybe embarassment
laughing= figure out the emotion
weakness= fear, uncontollable

I hope this can be a little helpful to you.

Whatever you ate for dinner didn't agree with you as much as you thought.

Have a great day and sweet dreams!
