why are my pictures not coming up on my screen and there is a red x and thats it on the screen?

it only does it on my email, and on myspace. whenever there's a picture it won't show it!!

my show pictures is clicked is there something else i'm missing? I'm trying to view wedding pictures on collages.net??

there are several causes why this isn't working. here are three possibilities.

if your images aren't showing up in your yahoo email this why.

in Yahoo Mail click on OPTIONS > SPAM PROTECTION and scroll to the bottom of the page and see if your images are blocked. if so click the radio button you want.

if you only a few images (not all) on a web site then it is the web site owner's fault. nothing you can do about that.

if no images load on any web site then you have image loading turned off in your browser. here is how to fix that in internet explorer.

click on tools > internet options > advanced tab > scroll down to the multimedia category > click the radio button that says "show pictures".

You most likely have your browser set to not display pictures. If you are using MS Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and then put a check mark next to Show Pictures.

It means you don,t have a Macromedia flash player installed,go to http://www.adobe.com and down load the flash player for free as an Internet explorer plug in.Or else your Internet explorer blocking the script,so remove it from Internet explorer.

It means that your computer make up will not support the document/ picture that was sent to you. Or it sent wrong from the people sending it.

it sounds like the link is broken.. just go in and fix it.. should take care of the problem.. unless it's one of those places that only accepts certain formats of photos... but if it was working before and isn't now.. it's just broken.
