I was wondering, what is the best kind of makeup for a girl who has pale skin with mild acne. Hazel eyes, plump lips, and long eyelashes? I'm just wondering. Best answer gets 10 points. Thank you!!!

I've noticed that you guys are saying "Don't wear heavy makeup". I already wear makeup, and just to let you know, I don't wear heavy makeup. It looks really bad!!! LoL. I also don't plan on wearing heavy makeup unless its for Halloween! Ha ha!

Also, I don't wear any kind of eyeliner. It irritates my eyes while and after I have it on. You can't see pencil liner when I wear it and liquid liner is the most irritating.

for ur eyes u can use pink, lavender eyeshadows to bring out the color of ur eyes. u can also do smokey black eyes. use a dark brown or black eye liner and mascara. i would recomend maybelline great lash. best mascara out there used by make-up artist and celebrities.
if u use foundation then use pure makeup by maybelline. it is free of pore clogging oils so it won't cause u to break out.
for ur lips use a nice pink, plum, berry or mauva lipgloss.

I have very pale skin with a pink undertone, so it is very hard for me to find makeup that matches my skin tone, so being pale, you will definitely have that challenge. The best thing that I have found that is not super expensive is L'Oreal's True Match which is blendable and doesn't make me look yellowish. It's not that great for the skin, but does not make me break out more as I am always careful to clean, tone and moisturize.

Mineral makeup is better for the skin, but it is, from my experience, designed more for women who have a yellow undertone. This may work really well for you if that is the case.

Some make up types will react with some people's skin more than other, so you will just have to experiment to find out what works for you.

I would use a great cleaner and astringent, then moisturize. You could even use a tinted moisturizer. It provides a light coverage and usually a little bit of sunscreen as well. Lightly cover any blemishes or redness with a cream concealer. Use a bit of brown or black mascara, a sheer pinkish lipgloss, and a cream blush. Use everything sparingly and you will be wonderfully clean and fresh looking.

check out clinique's make up. they have great foundations and cover up's that come in all colors, aren't heavy at all, and help to clear up your skin. i use their skin clarifying foundation, which is pretty sheer and completely oil-free, but covers up really well. i think it was $19 or $20. next time you're at the mall, pop into macy's or nordstrom and tell them you're interested in that certain foundation and want to try it. they'll find your color and apply it for you, then wear it for the rest of the day and see how it feels.

have you ever tried almay's "play" line of eye make up? they put out eye shadows, liners and mascaras all meant for certain eye colors to make your color pop! i have green eyes, so they include lots of greens and burgundies in the green palette. i think the hazel line had golds, browns and purples, but i'm not too sure. they're available at target and walmart and aren't expensive at all. check it out!

hope this helped a bit, take care!

i hear bare escentuals (sold @ sephora), is mineral makeup, and supposedly good for oily and or acne prone skin!! :)

also, if u have hazel eyes, and pale skin, i bet lavendar and greens look really good, as well as browns. try using a black liquid liner on the lash line, and lots of mascara to emphasis eyes!! :) and use a plum/rose colored pink for ur lips, i like lipgloss.. i also like to mix and match makeups.. right now i'm using a Revlon gloss, Maybelline mascara, MAC eyeshadows, estee lauder eyeshadows, and a highlighting (white) shadow on lower lash line. good luck!

edit: i also use Merle Norman for my skin... i have red spots, oily and acne prone skin..however, the coverage is pretty strong, and w/ ur pale color u probably don't need something that heavy. i did go in for a "make over" to do eyes, and i really liked how they did my eyeliner and shadow. i bought a gel pot eyeliner and brush from them, as well as eyebrow powder (eyebrows make a HUGE difference!!!) and concealer (i'm on the fence w/ that one)...and the Ultra Foundation Powder..but i didn't like their liquid foundation (too heavy) :) just get makeovers and learn the techniques YOU like

Cover the flaws with a concealer like Origins Natural, and apply a bronzer. For lashes, use Dior mascara and for lips, use Chanel Gloss. That is all you really need.

i think you might need a rosy blush, sheer lip-gloss and a brown eyeliner with a good brush to smoke it around the eye, giving it a deeper look with your hazel eyes. you may consider using a foundation, pick a one from a good medical brand.
for the night, deepen the eyeliner and coat your eyelashes with a good mascara.
good luck

start by always keeping ur face clean.... use a light makeup, nothing 2 heavy or u will only accentuate ur flaws..... try 2match ur skin tone, by samples first to see what looks best... apply with a sponge.... pat problem areas last.... a good black mascara and a simple shade of lip gloss..... this will make ur face look brighter, and draw attention 2 ur eyes and lips...... and remember 2 wash ur face b4 u go 2 bed every night.....

Hmm....I think you shouldn't wear heavy makeup. Maybe lip balm or clear/sheer lip gloss would do. Some moisturizer like Aveeno.
