the old ones of course... although it is kinda neat to see how anakin becomes Darth... but the old ones have so much more feeling too them.

The classic trilogy. alrite so the new ones look great, that's about it.
the only thing that saved phantom menace and made it a 2 star movie, not a one star movie was the climactic three way lightsaber fight at the end.
Now i understand samuel l. jackson, he can't act at all unless he gets to say m*therF*cker, every minute.
the new cast has NO CHEMISTRY. yes in the original the dialogue is cheesy at times the acting isn't great, but the characters are legendary, and do have some good lines.
i never had a sense of danger as the characters in the new movies are chopping up the doofy battledroids....
i can go on and on but..
i'm still waiting for jar jar to run into the jedi temple and say "anni wat da matta wit u?" then anakin chops off his head, the headless jar jar then says "how rude!"

I like the new star wars movies because the acting and the effects are so much better, but the old star wars hold a special place in my heart because it was the first and only movie I saw with my dad in a theater....

The old one. I first watched the Empires Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi in the theaters when I was a toddler and I got most of the original Star Wars toys. I was too young to remember watching Empire Strikes Back however.

Well, of course the originals will always be wonderful classics, but the new ones are good too. I like the completion / expansion of the story I love so well.
Han Solo was my first love. Harrison has been my fave actor since then. There will never be another Harrison Ford.
I personally really enjoyed episode 3 . Anakin's turning really spoke to me about the dangers of deception and doing anything at any cost for love. Did his act of "love" turn out to be the very thing that killed his wife?? I thought that was a powerful thought provoking story.

Old Star Wars; there will never be an ensemble to compete or compare with Princess Leia, Han Solo, Obi Wan, Luke Skywalker, Chewbaca, R2D2 and C3PO. They are truly all classics.

My biggest problem with Star Wars is that, since it wasn't all planned out right from the beginning (meaning that Lucas began building on it AFTER he saw how big it was), there's some pretty icky continuity things. And Lucas can't write love scenes for toffee. But there's nothing like the original. It still rules.
I wonder how much someone will pay George's heirs to remake them all 30-50 years from now?

My opinion The best One Is The Empire Strikes Back Followed by Revenge Of the Sith, Return of the Jedi, A New Hope, Attack of the Clones, And The Phantom Menace. So both series are good.
