Creationist view? Like everything just popped into existence 4,000 years ago and there were no dinosaurs kind of view? Nope...but if you are a "creationist" then you're pretty much nutty, I believe God did create everything...but he let it form on its own, gradually, which means evolution...yes, scary evolution.
In the real world, it might have been a bit closer to the equator when it was part of the supercontinent, Pangea. I don't believe the landmass we call Canada today was very far south, but probably closer to the equator than it is today.

No Canada never was but the rock mass that we now call Canada was certainly near the equator in the past.
I don't have a creationist view as creationism has no evidence and is religious muddle and myth

The equator passes by 13 international places: Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Sao Tome & Principe, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Maldives, Indonesia and Kiribati.

The creationsit view is wrong; and Canada was at one point lose to the equator, but it hasn't been in the last 200 million years

What? No, by nobodies view was Canada ever anywhere near the equator. Canada didn't exist until a few hundred years ago. The land mass that it currently occupies may have been, if Pangea ever turns out to be correct, but even then there's just too much land in the way. So again, no.
