I did a photo shoot about 12 weeks ago with a photographer in the Rockford Ill. area. We did the shoot for a local custom bike builder. The guy's got their pics of just the bikes, but the photographer hasn't sent us any of the pictures with me and the other model in them. Now, he doesn't answer our emails, or return our calls. I personally want to kick this guys @ss, but that's not a logical way to fix the problem. lol. Any ideas on what I should or could do to get these pictures from this guy?

He was fully paid, and he owns his own business. I'm not sure if there was a contract through the bike shop. I'm sure there had to be. This guy has been doing their shoots for a couple years now.

Hello, i'm sorry but it seems like he took yalls pics and $ (if you paid him) and ran with it. I f you didn't sign a contract or photo agreement then he got you. I'm a photographer and whenever I do photoshoots I always give a contract. That way it protects me and the clients and no one gets over on the other. The next time you need some professional work done, get in touch with me.

You need to contact a lawyer and have the lawyer contact this guy.

There was a contract in effect because you asked him to do the work (offer) and he did the work (acceptance). Moreover, you paid him (consideration), in exchange for the expectation that he would take good pictures and provide them to you. He has breached that promise, so could be sued, if necessary.

If you already paid him, and the pictures are your property, you can take him to small claims court, but that takes time and monetary resources. I would just keep the pressure on with phone calls. Maybe if you know his location, stop by for a civilized visit. Good luck.

If you have his house address, maybe you could go there and politely knock on the door and consult him about it. Or maybe call any of his relatives or friends. Maybe you could have somone else call him, and see if he picks up. Hope that helped! Good luck.
