actualy depend on the brand of your cd
check theinformation that came with a rewritable disc to find out how many times you can erase it
but for sure something you cannot reach
so don't worry
keep the good working

you can copy to a cd(rw) or dvd(rw) many times you can remove many times as well befor the disk is to old make a new back up
you can buy mnay cd(r) cd(rw) & dvd (r) dvd(rw) dvd- and dvd+ from here

put a cd(r) or cd(rw) disk in the drive ,right click the drive click on explorer then move the files to the open window , then at the top of the open window click on
file ,write these files to cd then click on ,ok
it will burn the files to the cd(r) or cd(rw ) disk

There is no limit! however it will sort of get run down through generall wear and tear! i think this would be about 1000 times!!
but there is no limit really!
used the same one every day for about 2 years!

I've been using the same disc(s) for a long time now so I'm not sure a definitive answer is known. For a long time. :)
