The first thing I would advise is to see your doctor. You didn't say how old you were, so I don't have much to base a theory on. Vitamin deficencies can cause muscle cramping, A visit to your physician and a simple blood test may be all you need to diagnose the problem. If it turns out to be a more chronic problem your doctor may suggest quinine sulfate, that you can buy OTC at WalMart, or he/she may diagnose you with restless leg syndrome. There is now a prescription medication on the market to treat this disorder. I would deffinately say a trip to the MD is in order. If you aren't sure what is going on, I wouldn't try to treat it without greater knowledge. If you are on a tight budget, check with your local health department. Most public health agencies have a staff physician that will see you on a sliding scale fee basis, meaning that they charge you based on your income, and there is usually a maximum amount that they can charge. If your local public health office doesn't provide this they know who will be able to help you. If you are a senior citizen, I strongly advise you to see your doc very soon, as vitiamin deficencies can indicate other problems, such as cardiac problems. Hope this helps. Cheers!!

Hi Trouble, Even even though you exercised a couple of days earlier than the suffering began, it may well nonetheless come up from overexertion. Sciatica is a combo of tight muslces within the buttock subject and a couple of joints on your curb again that may tighten. Do you take in extra potassium (such as bananas or a potassium supplement)? If what you have is genuinely "restless leg syndrome," potassium helps. Are you too heavy? Do you walk at all? You may just be out of shape and your legs are trying to get your attention. You also may have a serious circulation problem that would need medical attention quickly, as if clotting is a problem that would need to be cleared up. Do you take a baby aspirin a day? If I were you, I'd start that and get in touch with a doctor ASAP.

Sounds like you may have some circulation problems. Walking will improve your circulation and is not a hard exercise to do.
Don't wear high heels. Don't cross your legs.
Elevate your legs when you can.
Don't stand for long periods. Take vit E and C.
Drink enough water...at least 8 glasses a day.
Don't smoke (makes circulation worse in legs)
Don't get constipated, makes more pressure on veins.
