Hard to say what you have missed mate. You never know what you missed unless you are actually there. Marriage experience is always varied. Some have it sweet others have it hard. It all depends on who you're with.
I have been once and it was not very good. Yet it would not stop me deciding to do it again only thing I would change would be the person. Cause get the person right and it can be a really great experience.

You've missed the companionship, the closeness, the feeling that there is more to life than yourself, the constant illnesses, ( remember the vow 'in sickness and his health,?), the support ( that you provide), the double income, becoming one income when you have children, which becomes no money for you at all. You've missed the car being unavailable to you, but having to buy, clean and repair it. You 've missed having your own home, dominated by her stuff and taste. You've missed having lots of sex, becoming sex on your birthday, becoming hoping she's not in the mood, and being pretty sure you're safe in that respect. You've missed just so much, mate. I feel so sorry for you.

Well you have missed out on loosing half (at least) of your house, car, money etc etc. You have missed out on being nagged non stop. You have missed out on having to work non stop to give her those exotic holidays abroad twice a year. I recon you have missed out on so many horrible things I find it hard to feel sorry for you, you luck, lucky man

The companionship, the love, growing old together.
Arguments in Wilkinsons, ignoring one another, hogging the bed, in-laws, the list is endless!
