Was it any good. Saw a bit and thought it was crap.

'Crap' is too good a discription.
I heard that the master tapes got stolen, shame they found them !
- Lame attempts at humour.
- TOTALLY CRUD sword fighting & archery (I've done BOTH so I know what I am talking about).
- Totally screwed up the origin of RH (How can he be Robin from Locksley & The Earl of Huntingdon at the same time??????).
- Disjoined story that seemed to go nowhere.
- Poor acting.
The only reedming feature was Maid Marion.
Even the DIABOLICIAL 'New adventures of Robin Hood' (US 1990's version) was better than this one.
If you want a good Robin Hood you need to look at 'ROBIN OF SHERWOOD' the 1980's TV show.
PS - Budgerigars were not introduced into europe until at least the 17 century, after the discovery of Austrailia

I understand it is meant to be amazing. I have not yet watched it but recorded it and hope to watch it tomorrow. Some people might not like the facts that the merry men are now called "The Outlaws", Maid Marrian is now just Marrian and there is no sighting of Friar Tuck but then this is Robin Hood for the (new) Doctor Who generation. I think I'm going to like it!

I really enjoyed it. Could have done with a better looking Robin Hood though, that was a bit disappointing!!!

It was crap. It's aimed at the American market. Some girl in the first scene asked "Where are you headed?". Here in England, we would say "Where are you heading?". The fight moves were cr@p, special effects were ok but some of the acting was poor. If you're a kid though, you'd probably enjoy it.

It started a bit slow, probably laying down the ground work. I am hoping it will get better as the series progresses.

it was ok i think it will get better as it was just getting into robin returning and how he becomes a outlaw so i think it will get better the 1st 1 was just going through the motion!
and sorry i must say robin is sexy-he can take me into the forest any day! x

I found it a little slow, a sort of in between cbbc and regular tv, as in it could have been matured up a little but then it would have been on later at night.
i'll give it another try and see if it gets better but he ain't no Michael Praed ;)

It was all a bit to 'knowing' for me, and lacked any depth. The women had too much make up on and the baddies weren't good looking enough. You didn't miss much.

it was pretty good, ending was quite thrilling, aparently it gets better thruout da series
