Enterprise- I really like Scott Bakula and of course the vulcan, but regressing back on these shows seems more like one episode or part of a movie and not as a premise as a show.
You could always tell who was to be killed in the original show becuae they wore red.

I agree with you -The original series.
Look at it realistically ; First off they are using an old decrepit ship that stops working on an all too regular basis. Clearly the Enterprise is not the pride of Starfleet and the mission is in all reality a kamikaze mission.
Dr.McCoy is just a country doctor . What the hell is this man doing on a friggin' starship ?
Scotty is proof that not all twelve step programs work . Every once in a while the fog clears and the good engineer that he once was returns-but not for long.
Spock ? Spock is in love with the captain and occasionally they do the friends with benefits dance below decks. Look at the dog like devotion that Spock shows Kirk , is there any doubt ?
Captain Kirk honestly believes that the Enterprise is was his personal libido delivery service. Kirk's libido knew no bounds .
The reason that Kirk used to have to go down to a planet was the remote possibility of him scoring another alien ,and nobody could talk him out of it. Kirk put his ship and crew in danger because of his OCD. The man was a slut and a menace. Kirk was completely indiscriminate about who or what he did. Trekkie's help me out on this, didn't Kirk have sex with a rock once ?
Anyway the cast was not believable in their roles ,with the exception of Uhura who as black eye candy was totally believable..
Picard and crew on the other hand were very believable.

I never hated any of them. On the contrary i enjoyed each for their own individual perspective on the whole trek universe. the original set the ground rules for what was enhanced only by the next generation which brought depth and character driven plots regardless that it was set in the future of space. DS9 took a unique and imperfect view of existance full of conflict and war between not only other races but between each other (probably more in tune with real people's problems and lives). Whereas Voyager took us into a fish out of water situation- do you remain true to your self and beliefs when stuck in an impossible situation in life where you cant quite get to where you want to be. Then Enterprise tries to bridge the gap by filling in historical events that led the other shows mythology to be where it is and why. Its all about perspective, as each version brings something to the equation of life.

I've been a Trekker since the very first episode, in September, 1966 (yes, I am OLD), & love all the series. No matter how bad, they have always been the best thing on TV (except for "Spock's Brain". One of the all time WORST!).
However, of all the series, I think "Voyager" was the weakest. I don't know if the creative team was getting tired or what, but that series just never clicked with me.

I think Enterprise was the weakest series out of all the series. For some reason, it didn't lead up to where the original series, meaning how they got on the wrong foot with the Klingon's, meet more aliens, etc. I would say they lost their way. The thing I like about the show was the music theme.

Hm.
Any series in which there were human-alien hybrids. (I think that's all except Enterprise).
Any series in which all of the aliens appeared to be humans with rubber thingies stuck on their foreheads. (DS9, Enterprise, TOS).
Any series in which a "polaron beam with polarity reversed" saved the day. (Voyager).
Any series in which an episode was cancelled out by a time-travel twist at the end. (Voyager).
Any series in which an entire season was cancelled out by finding out we'd been watching a "clone" of the main ship (Voyager -- Silver Blood episodes).
Any series in which too many planets appear to be exact duplicates of Earth, but taken over by gangsters or Nazis or children or Chinese. (TOS).
Any series in which the holodeck malfunctions and endangers the ship (TNG, Voyager, DS9).
Any series in which the robot malfunctions, endangers the ship, and isn't afterward put off the ship permanently. (TNG, Voyager).
Any series in which the stupid kid saves the day with his magic powers (TNG).
Any series in which there's an episode or two depicting the Q Continuum (Voyager).

My least favorite was Enterprise, the latest one. I liked TOS for its hokeyness, and TNG for its class. The others were okay; but didn't you ever notice in TOS, every guy in a red shirt who went down to the planet with the Away Team got dead real quick.
