Memorable?!?? memorable?
You're kidding right?
You want to try something that's so unique, it's never been done before?

Listen, Chucky. Don't go for the memorable bullsh*t.
Don't go for the crowd pleasing, billboard sign, cliche...
Don't ask her in front of your friends...
And for crying out loud, don't do it on St. Val's day (CHEESE!)

Whatever you do, just make sure it's with passion.
Sometimes simply taking a walk, remeniscing your times together and asking her to spend the rest of her life with you is all it takes.
No cheese, no hoorah, just plain simple love.

I do not know. Age is not even close to being enough information to know what would be the most ideal, romantic, memorable way to bring up the subject. Well, actually no, memorable, I could do it memorable...just whenever you two are talking about something fairly trivial, not related to your relationship, like: "Wow, yesterday we went to lunch with the colleagues to a Thai restaurant, and they really make a good meal there!!! When was the last time you went out with your colleagues?" after she responds, just say "oh, btw how about marrying this bad boy in front of you?"...Or something like that. That would be memorable...because it would be so random.
But yeah, actually I do not know her, and I think you know her the best, and you know what she would find romantic, and go with it. Just think about it. The more you think the better the idea, the better will be for her, because it shows your "work" that you've put into it.

Good luck, and congrats if she accepts, which I'm sure she will...

Congratulations!

Any proposal of marriage is pretty much memorable by its very nature. For example, I proposed (and was accepted) over the phone, from 2300 miles away... so there's clearly more than one way to make a proposal memorable :-) However, that was in 1979 and we're still married, so there are clearly other factors at work here.

Since then, one of my favorite ways to make gifts memorable for our kids is to set up a "treasure hunt." That is, kid opens present and sees a note that gives a cryptic clue to where to find the NEXT clue. Then they find that one and it's a clue to the NEXT one -- kinda like "National Treasure." This goes on for three or four clues till they finally get to the present, whatever it is. (Last Christmas, my teenage daughters did this for their 9-year-old little brother... and the final present was that they lured him into the kitchen and hit him in the face with a pie. No, really. What's REALLY strange is that this is his favorite Christmas present of all time.)

I don't recommend that you hit her in the face with a pie that has an engagement ring in it, though, unless you're both recent graduates of clown school. But a treasure hunt might be fun -- especially if each step of the way made some kind of reference to an especially romantic event from your past (first date, first kiss, favorite place, etc.) And the last piece of the puzzle would have a ring in it, or maybe just the words "Please say Yes" and you can ask her.

First thing you do is get the dad/parents' permission to marry their daughter. They will respect you for that.
I proposed to my wife in a hot air balloon. She had no idea i even had a ring. On September 11, 2004 i told her to put on a t-shirt, blue jeans, and some tennis shoes. I told her we were going to do something memorable for Sept 11 that was positive. I started driving, and she had NO clue where we were going. I had the ring box in my sock the whole time. And i had the balloon ride scheduled and ready to go. So when we got there 45 minutes later, (it looks like a very small building with a putt-putt golf course) she says "You drove me this far to play putt putt golf? LOL Anyways, i said nope, we are going in a hot air balloon. So we watched the balloon inflate; went up in the air, enjoyed the ride for 40 minutes, and as she turned around near the end of the ride, i took out the ring box and got on 1 knee... she turned around and i asked her to be my wife. She said "of course honey" and started crying.
My point is; do something special-- something you guys will never forget. And i failed to mention there were 9 other people including the pilot, and we got cheered for. Everything was perfect. Congrats and good luck!

Well im not sure why you threw the age in there but here is a quote I found that made me laugh because my boyfriend to is younger than me "The theory used to be that marry an older man because they mature faster. THe new theory is that men dont mature. So you might as well marry a younger one" But to make it memorable just make sure you really mean if she loves you anything will make her happy I was engaged before and they didnt really purpose but my boyfreind knows that. Just make sure you have a ring that you picked out from your heart and make sure you get on one knee and say what comes from the heart.

Well...
This is something you should come up with on your own, to make it more personable, but I can give you a few ideas: My dad picked my mom up from work at sunset. He had balloons, flowers, wine and a picnic basket in the back and set up a picnic under the stars.

I also saw on t.v this one guy, had a deal with the police department, and he set something up to where his girlfriend got pulled over while he was with her, and the cop was creating a hassle, and eventually put the woman in handcuffs, and while he was reading her her rights, he said, "And you have the right to take -----'s hand in marrige... " and so on, it was really sweet, and made the woman cry.
Good Luck and Congrats.

Take her to Paris for her birthday
Show her the sights
Take her on a cruise down the Seine
Then take her to Notre Dame Cathedral
Spend an hour looking around then just as you are making your way out ask her to sit a while with you
Then go for it

its what I did and it worked a treat

Good Luck

Take her for a hot balloon ride and have some people spell out "will you marry me" on the ground with flowers (so she could gather then and then take them home) or something else and then give her the ring ..that would be really memorable!!

Knock her a s s out and drag her off by her hair.
Just Kidding. Or am I?
No, seriously, try taking her to a romantic spot that is special to both of you, then ask. Make sure you have some privacy; she doesn't want everyone to see her mascara running when she cries. Good Luck.

First of all, CONGRATS!!!! Make sure you get her a pretty ring.
Tell her you want to surprise her and to be waiting for you one day with something pretty on (dress). Take her to a nice restaurant and get down on bended knee. If you do it in front of people, it would be SUPER MEMORABLE because they will all be cheering you on.

HOW EXCITING!
