I don't deal well with criticism, and am still hard on myself for things that happened long ago. That and when someone criticizes me, I nearly always take it personally and can't let it go for a long time. I don't hate the people that do it, I just can't forget what was said. Overall, I want to be able to handle criticism better and not care what other people think so much... Thanks in advance for your response.

I understand were you coming from i used to be like that and sometimes still are. But first of all you got to let go of your past no matter how bad or good. It's hard but it's worth it. Now everytime someone said something that criticized me i would be angry and never let it go. Then i realized that some people are self centered and don't care. I started standing up for myself and people then started respecting me. Plus i told them how i felt and i would apprieciate if they keep there comments to themselves. If you don't take one of these steps like i did you will be hurt allot more in life trust me. I hope things get better and rem some people are idiots and think there everything so they don't care what they say and who it hurts.

You have to learn to differentiate between criticism and nasty comments. Helpful criticism you should incoperate as best you can and then let it go knowing you are doing your best. Negative criticism you can just let go of off the bat, it is not helpful or useful. There is nothing wrong with worrying what others think as long as you can remember that they are only as important as you want them to be. Never rent out space in you thoughts to people that don't mean that much to you.
