I think it's the thing in the hospital hall that holds rubber gloves, etc. (no needles or drugs).

This place installed them in 1998. Maybe you could email them and ask. I can't find a photo of one.

I am a medical transcriptionist and I'm not quite sure what you mean. What is the term in reference to? That could narrow down what the word possibly is or means.
