So far no one has questioned the premise of a god .
Wonders why??
The question, at a deeper level is this: Is your future already determined?
Get it now?

Your Q. is hypothetical, I think there is no way that god can talk to us and tell us to die now. It's easy to evade ur Q. by saying yes or no but I would like to infuse something about what we called dea...th(hard to imagine event in our lifetime). I think there are 2 kinds of dea..th the physical ( misfortune, sickness and old age) and the psychological dea..th ( the dissolution of our illusions about fear, greed, exclusiveness, titles, all attachments-physical,emotional or psychological and many more that is not real). I think physical dea..th is natural but psychological dea..th is the one we don't want to happen. A person who died psychologically is the one ready to die physically.Word god is loaded with different meanings it is like a maze and everybody is caught in it. I think If I die psychologically the real destiny is at hand.

If God tells you to die at a certain point in time, you probably would, as it is not a matter of choice. If God wants you to die he will make it happen, instead of telling you to do it yourself.

But let's say god does ask you to die. Unless you're suicidal (and i'm not speaking of emo or gothic kids who cut their wrists 'cause their life sucks) or obsessively religious, one wouldn't just easily kill themselves. You'd have to have a strong willpower in order to do it.

Personally... I'd do it if this would be an amazing personal revelation to me and I'd see that this request has to be done (for a divine reason).

Your question is insufficient. Unlike the person who thinks hearing from God might be Satan, LSD, or e.coli, I'm going to assume if God actually deigns to speak with me, I will have no doubt it is God and not some hallucination. Now, is God just asking me to die? Or is God asking me to sacrifice my life for the greater good? If God is asking me for a sacrifice, I'm going to hope I'm brave enough to do it. If God is just randomly reducing the surplus population, I think I'll tell him to ask for other volunteers first.

Let's say your god actually did say that to you, how would you know it was your god? How do you know that you just aren't having a hallucinagenic episode? Is it worth the risk?

If a microscopic amount of E.Coli in your spinach can kill you and LSD is mind altering in extermely small doses, how can you be sure that something you ate wasn't contaminated with a psychoactive compound, natural or man made, and hasn't caused your unstable emotional state to manifest your god to you and tell you what you want/fear to hear?

Also, many religions have a deceiver type antagonist (aka Satan), do you know you are hearing from the right source?

Only on purpose! Speaking of the Biblical God, He would not just order someone to die. Man was designed with a purpose and that purpose is to reunite man with him like in the beginging. God is just and would not just go around ordering anyone around. There is choice and there is freewill. To be follow God and his laws is choice, the rest is consequence.

if he is God he will not need to say to me to die because he his God. He created the system, and he does not keep changing the system at his willl. Anyway, my God won't. That is why he is God and not some kind of human being.

I don't beleive in a god and for a reason that is followed: I live my own life if i die then it'll happen. I won't lie down for someone to order me to die when i don't want to. I have my own will.

well, if my dog said to me, "die now." i would say to my dog, "kill me if you want me to die." (ultimately, though, i would fight my dog to death--mine or his. and no, i guess i wouldn't think i'm crazy if i heard my dog speak) the same goes for if anyone else who says that to me.

predetermined fate? well, i don't know if i agree with that...perhaps to a certain extent, only.

i believe that the way in which we lived our PAST lives determines how we live our future lives. that doesn't necessarily mean that our lives have been mapped out for us. it just means that karma is coming into affect; however, everyone can work to change her path. nothing is finalized. that is why we make decisions.

If God knows all, he will know whether you will die or not and he wouldn't ask you if the answer would be no, so yes, you would die.
