I know there was a movie recently about their involvement with a friggin' therapist or something? WTF?!? While I liked Metallica's music, someone would have to pay me to see something like this! What happened to them? Has anyone seen this? Why would they even do something like this? I know this is old news, but I am still perplexed. Any opinions or comments?

I think the movie was called...

'some kind of monster'

...and yes, a therapist was called in to evaluate how the band relates to each other, in an attempt to make it easier for them to get together to record their album, or some rubbish like that.

I am not sure what happened to 'metal' or even 'rock n roll'.... why can't they just meet up and record an album just like everyone else, rather than make films about what neurotic twirps they all are.

It really was a boring movie. Avoid.

I haven't seen this movie but my best guess as to why people in Hollyweird do anything is $$$$$.
