i'm fed up with them too. they take up much-needed space for other more useful articles, such as "aliens were spotted in New York!!!"

So am I, but I'm also tired of the subliminal approach they utilize in the same magazines. Look at the ads if there is a woman in it that is not pregnant, or holding a cooking implement that woman is very thin, tall, wearing clothes that are very impractical and posing in a suggestive way. It has been pr oven that when the mind is shown the same (or similar) images over and over again a subconscious reaction is formed. Thus the reason why Twiggy-type models are used more often and why all of the magazines have something to do with weight loss. Yes there are many ways to lose weight quickly (like for the military tape test.) but the weight won't stay off unless you change your life style. I resent the image sent to my by designers that unless I am a size 8 I'm fat. I admit I am overweight by 25 lbs, but I have not been a size 8 since elementary school. My hips keep me in a size 12 or higher.
And yes this does create an unhealthy society. Look at the strip malls in your town, near every women orientated gym (Curves, Baileys) there is a fast food restaurant or ice cream place within walking distance. Yes, lets exercise for two hours and reward ourselves with junk food.
No wonder we focus on body image.

I agree with you on this. There are too many ads EVERYWHERE on how to lose weight, and most of them are unhealthy ways, such as diet pills, the so called 24 hour celebrity diet drink, and so on. People should either accept themselves for who they are and how they look, but if someone does have a concern about their weight, the only safe way to get a straight answer about what they should do is go to a doctor. Eat healthier and exercise. Don't let the ads fool you...they are just trying to scam you to get their money.

We all know that a lot of weight loss things won't work easily, and we always see these commercials on losing like 550% weight pills, and we knows those pills could be harmful. They seriously need to stop the magazine topics of weight loss, and move on to more interesting articles.

I am as sick of fad weight loss programs, weight is a serious problem for so many healthwise, attention must be addressed to that problem, not promises of "lose weight for $......a month on our program, how many of you have exercise machines taking up garage space because of just such false claims. My wise old Grandmother used to say "just push yourself away from the table" think it still applies.

I certainly have by no potential used them back and am now thinking of removing them. I did have one concern to characteristic nevertheless. do you comprehend everybody properly sufficient to customize the techniques extra? I recommend, in line with risk each guy needs Maxim, yet I actual could like absolutely everyone of countless different magazines...in basic terms ensure you do no longer persist with some thing that they could no longer desire. i could quite get medical American mag.
