If you mean the Roman empire, there is a lot, but have it in mind that even if you are a native Italian you cannot be sure your ancestors are the ancient Romans (regarding your expression "we Romans"). But anyways, think first of all about the modern judicial system, then aqueducts (water and sewage system), roads, architecture, rhetoric's (art of speech composition and delivery), history (we would not know, for example that Jesus existed outside of the Bible if it were not for a Roman historian born Jew), philosophy, and I could tell more if I had the time. Good question, though.

Just as the previous great empires, America is collapsing from within. The Greeks no longer believed they would be attacked and became more peaceful, Alexander the Great became ill, Genghis Khan died with too many heirs, the Holy Roman Empire started religious wars and the law of the land was Catholic law.
The Romans created a political system that eventually led to liberalism and the end of the empire. They were the first "republic" to be destroyed by it's own politics. Americans do not realize that liberalism is the guaranteed destruction of our society, country and way of life. If they are so bent on change, they should move to places where that life already exists.

Hellenised cities were a Greek idea however they were adopted by the Romans and they forced them upon the provincials. This meant that cities built in the same square and orderly fashion were found from Africa, Italy to Britain and Germany.
Roman Catholocism is a great part of todays society...(However, most Catholics aren't Roman).
The Romans also created cement from volcanic ash and mixing it with water.

When Romans built their roads, they built them wide enough to accommodate a chariot being pulled by two horses. The roads stayed in use through the development of the railroad, never varying in width. Railroad cars, because of the width of the roads and the tunnels that already existed, were built on the same scale even in the USA where there were no Roman roads.
Now when the space shuttle came along, it didn't go by train, but the solid rocket boosters did. They had to be able to fit on a train flat car and fit through a train tunnel. So the width of a solid rocket booster was determined by the ancient Romans and is approximately the same width as two horses' asses.

Art and architecture for sure. I forget most of my art history here damnit. Look at building techniques too. Their use of cement and ways to support buildings was pretty revolutionary. How are we romans today? I wear a gladiator helmet everyday.

Romans, instead of a peaceful conquest, through civilization and
commerce, they used weapons....! Today, the power is measur ed by the power of destructive weapons Countries can display! And, most of all, they had their ethics out!
See how History does not...teach ?

The Latin Alphabet is still with us. We added "J", "U" and "W". The Pontifus Maximux is still with us today. We added saints and societies -- still headquartered in the same location.

INFLUENCE: Mainly in the republican form of government.
ROMANS TODAY: We still like violence in our sports, though not as much as they did--thankfully.
