How do you go about collecting unemployment in the state of California?

I know you have to be fired and not resign, but where do you go to file it, how do they determine how much they will give you on a monthly basis, and how long does that last for? after how many days per week will they stop it, like if you get a part-time job, let's say 3 days a week, will they stop it?

Go to the Unemployment Office, (it's in the phone book). go , get in line, and if you qualified, they'll tell you how much you'll be getting. It takes 3 weeks. and I forgot how long you'll receive the money.
