plucking hurts way too much above the lip. wax is easy and fast. afterwards I put some ice on it so cool it down. and redness goes away fast.

I do not pluck, shave, use a depilatory, or wax the hair on my upper lip.

In order to carry out these types of hair removal techniques, you need to have a certain amount of hair growth. So sure, it looks great after you do it the 1st time. But you have to WAIT for the hair to grow a few millimeters in order to do it again. IF you are comfortable with the little growth then it's cool..if not, you may find it annoying.

Also, if you pluck or wax you MAY get ingrown hairs. Those turn into little bumps and can be unsightly.

I bleach the hair on my upper lip using Jolene. Sure the hair is still there, but it's not as noticeable.

The only other thing you can try later is laser hair removal. It is expensive and you'll need to do many treatments. It PERMANENTLY removes the hair so you never have to worry again.

well i pluck it but it really doesnt hurt that much. but im planning on waxing because plucking takes too long and makes my hairs grow back more coarse. waxing is suppose to get rid of the hairs and make your hair grow back thinner and slower and eventually stop growing out. but that takes a long time, it also depends on how thick ure hairs are too. the thicker the longer. But waxing can hurt and u may miss some hairs. Usually the first time is the worst (hurts the most), but the second time is a lot better. For a box of wax (like Sally Hansen's) would be from about $6-$10.

I have never did anything to mine, I can barely see it. When you start plucking and waxing, it makes the hair corse and you will be able to see it more. Don't mess with it, till you absolutely can't stand it. Trust me. No guy has ever said anything about a mustache on me. They don't even know I don't wax.

I put some shaving cream on it and shave it. Plucking hurts VERY BAD, and waxing it just wastes time and money. I have been shaving mine for 4 years now and nothing is wrong with it.

No, and you only should if its bad. Because your hair will grow back and it will be darker and heavier. But if you are considering doing that than you might want to get it done by a professional.

Hope everything works out!
