The world is what we make it.

the world is being adapted in growth to better fullfill peoples desires, it is like a current, the world changes, the general natural wealth is diverted.

If physical contentment is removed we are left with mental contentment.

It is what you make it.

The world can be a hellhole or an eden all from what perspective you look at it from, and where you are looking.

i think that bringing goodness, joy, ~~ good content, into the world is what we do, I think that as long as we are doing that we have the memories.

It'll get "better" if you manage the wealth properly, I beleive no matter where you are you are at your ideal for where you were, and that you will move to where your next ideal location will be, in mind body or spirit, it's a given, accept the gift, and give generously.

From both historical and biblical point of view the world is full of conflict between societies. Now that weapons have become bigger and more destructive, the world will get worse despite the advance in technology. Someone somewhere somehow will demonstrate the full effects of weapons of mass destruction. Thats when pandemonium will begin in retaliatory action. This may be soon rather than later.

Unfortunately it gets worse. When both sides continue to support their parties regarless of their outcome. The hippies, considered the idealistic generation, beacme the yuppies. And we continue to ignore Global warming.

As long as we continue to let profit mongerers run our political parties it will continue to get worse.

Just wait until the children of Iraq and Aphganistan (I have no idea how to spell that) grow up. They are not goint to be happy with what happened to their country (either what we did, or whatb will happen after we leave). MAny times we just call people evil and do not consider their motivation. As a result we will continue to motivate them, but were their other options against the Taliban, I don't know.

There are multiple answers to this question, depending on which perspective of the world you are looking at. The world is getting better because the technological progress brings us convenience and pleasure. However, it causes pollution and make certain crimes possible. But anyway, overall the world is becoming better because we are continuously searching for better solutions or ways to respond to maintain or improve what we have now

We haven't even approached the limit yet. A can of worms that can be closed has been opened. The U.S. is (and will continue to be) the key to resolving things. we have a 2 party system with no significant differences between the parties on the things which are driving this run away train and we just have to ride it out.

The world has always been and will be a dangerous place to live. There will be times things will be gentler and times when things will be worse. For all we know right now might be the easiest for Humane kind of all times....

Some aspects of life have gotten better. Technology is an example.

If you're referring to morals and principles, well, we've been on a down fall in that matter for years! I'm sure crime, war, violence, hunger, the economy are all on roads to hardship.

However, there is hope!

I am afraid that it will get far worse in the next decade. I think the elements of WW3 are forming around us now, and American culture is asleep at the switch with all our techno-ignoring of each other. Looks bleak to me, sorry to say.
