First you need to distribute the -2 to (x+3) that will = -2x-3. Then distribute the nesgative - to (3x+5). That = -3x-5. So you now have -2x-3-3x-5. Group like varibles. -2x-3x and -3-5. Then you end up with -5x-11. Answer C.
