Well, regarding Philosophy, I would separate them differently:
Before Historical times: We can only think of such through the myths.
Initial Historic Times: Homer, Hesiod,
Ancient Times (PreSocrates): Beyond the 7 wise men, were many others! Leukippos, Democritus, Empedocle, ...
Socratic Era: Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Euripides and thousands others.
After Socrates: Epicurus, Plutarch, Ypatia, ....
In all other ages, none did anything original to Philosophy!
