My bf just bought me a MP3 player for my birthday...its actually a PMP (portable media player) which is a MP3, radio, video, text viewer and it can also record radio, dvd player & tv shows directly from the TV or cable box....and its from iAudio Cowon which cost $699 in singapore.

the model is: Cowon A2 (30GB)

the video n audio quality is damm good...sharp n clear....
good battery life, larger screen then ipod video, support more video formats then ipod...

you can go to Hardware Zone forum and check out its review from the local buyers from singapore....

I have a 30gb video it seems short but its realy not. They last 14 hours on music. When I first got it I thought I would watch videos a lot but I dont watch them that much and my iPod has never died on me so I would gt it if I werre you.

I have one, and I'm fine with the battery life on it. I mean, you can only watch that little screen so long, anyway. You could always get an ac adaptor so you can just charge it at the wall, too.
