I am a perfectly normal, educated, hard working, and intellectual White male. Does this mean that I have no chance for government work? It seems you have to be a minority and/or disabled (both mentally and physically) to even have a good shot at getting a job in government. I mean, take Pres Bush for instance.

It's tough to get some, and easy to get others. Entry level is often tough because many people apply. But for the higher up positions, they usually are looking to hire someone with government experience.
It's not tough to get certain jobs. Try looking for at jobs which require travel to Baghdad and you'll probably get one easily!
Once you get your foot in the door, you're golden!

well LOL at you too. Gov't jobs are a dime a dozen for hard working Americans and allow more goof off time per hour than any other job in existance. Seems that would fit you perfectly doesn't it. Maybe you should make your 171 reflect who you really are and follow through with that in the interview. LOL
