There is an interpretive center in Baker City, Oregon, with good education stuff.

There is a Mormon organization called Sons and Daughters of the Pioneers, which has great history on Mormon Pioneers.

I used to get wonderful free stuff from the History channel - lots of great stuff on their web site, and you can sign up to receive their free lesson plans in the mail.
