In Jackson, MIchigan there is a bakery called Hinkley's Bakery that has the best doughnut on earth. Chocolate covered crescents to die for. My friend, Diane makes doughnuts at home. Also to die for. For commercial/chain doughnuts I'd go with Krispy Kreme.

Krispy Kreme are the best donuts around. I have to keep them out of the house, I'm on a diet and those are the only things my will power can't withstand. Yummy!

For sure Krispy Kreme, the plain glazed ones. They just melt in your mouth. Dunkin' Doughnuts gross me out, they smell too greasy or somthing.
