There was no corruption in India during
the Freedom Struggle which was led
by Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, etc.
Gandhiji's "My Experiment with
Truth" is still a Search Light. They only sacrificed
their lifes and amassed no material wealth by
serving the nation. After Independence,
the graph of corruption has tremendously
gone up as admitted by the Chief Vigilance
Commission who handles the formidable task
of fighting corruption in India.

More and more privatisation of services will reduce corruption. Take, for example, the telecom sector in India. Ten years back, getting a new telephone connection without a bribe was very difficult. Now with private players around, people do not bother to woo BSNL/MTNL employees.

a most difficult question to answer.

if people follow and act like Mahatma Gandhi then corruption can be reduced over time eventually stopped.

people should take responsibility for their own actions instead of blaming other people or media or fashion industry.

if people started to belief, follow and act accordingly to their own religious texts, traditions, culture then their is a possibility.
