This is the first time I have ever seen the three words "Lexmark" "original" and "cheap" in the same sentence!
Lexmark are one of the worst offenders at making a cheap printer, then getting their profit out of the replacement cartridges. An honest "CartridgeWorld" or similar will also tell you that Lexmark cartridges give the most problems with refilling, especially if the original has got really dry. The other day in a supermarket locally I actually saw a new printer, which came complete with cartridges, cheaper than the two replacement cartridges!
Watch also for the two kinds - often called "medium yield" and "high yield" - the "medium" has half the capacity, and yet costs twothirds the price of the "high yield" - buy the big one!

No.
You are probably better off throwing it in the bin and buying a new one as it will be cheaper than buying new cartrages

DO NOT BUY INK REFILLS OR COMAPTIBLES. THEY FLOOD YOUR PRINTER OR MESS YOUR CARPETS.
WE HAVE TRIED ALL OF THEM, AND INSTEAD OF THEM BEING CHEAPER IT WORKS OUT MORE EXPENSIVE. WE HAD JUST BOUGHT A £200 PHOTO INKJET WITH SCANNER, FAX AND COPIER. USED CHEAP INKS AND RUINED IT.
NOW WE GOT A £100 BROTHER INKJET (PHOTO)
AND IT JUST COST US £35 FOR FOUR INKS FOR IT (CYMK)
WORKS OUT CHEAPER IN THE LONG RUN
THEY ARE MORE RELIABLE, DON'T BLOCK YOUR PRINTER AND HAVEA HIGHER YIELD AND BETTER QUALITY.
JUST USSE PROPER ONES.
