Make sure you are grounded to something while doing anything inside a computer. I use my vacuum cleaner to suck the dust out. I also have one of those little keyboard vacuums that works great for the little things. Be careful with the fans, you don't want to spin them too fast with the sweeper or else they will break.

I wouldn't suggest the air compressor!!! The computer is not made to take 100 psi or whatever it is! Just make sure you are grounded... this means touching something metal that is touching the ground.... like touching your computer case (if its metal). Honestly... i know its gross... but i would suggest closing your eyes... and blowing the dust out... maybe use a straw to guide where you are blowing..... maybe using one of those things that they use to blow leaves.... from a long distance would work.... you just don't want to blow apart your computer... it is fragile! lol

Put on your grounding straps- if you don't have any, you can get it at any electronics retailer( radio Shack).

Get a can of compress air and blow those dust bunnies out on to your carpet.

Do you know someone with compressed air?
If not, go to the gas station and press the tire inflator with your thumb nail to blow it off.
As before, don't spin the fan with compressed air.
It will fly apart.
