Maybe your partner is on the large side, and your body needs to adjust to this. If you are having redness, itching or irritation, it may be due to yeast or urinary tract infection. Those are very common when a woman gets a new partner and is active. You may not be allergic to latex, but are you using spermicide or nonoxonol-9 on your condoms? many spermicidally lubricated condoms contain these elements, and many women have adverse reactions to these things.

Since you have become more active recently, it's a good time to get a checkup at the Ob/Gyn, for the health of you and your partner.

If your having a lot of sex then you will get sore. Try soaking in the tub and going slow when you have sex. If you were allergic you'd probably know it. It burns really bad. If you're having chaffing then your skin may be tearing a little. This can lead to infection. Make sure he's really clean before you do it. Have fun but be careful.
