I am 5 weeks pregnant, my HCG level Friday was 225, that does not add up, am I right? I'm sure of the dates of my last cycle. Also the very slight breast tenderness I had is totally gone now and I have no other symptoms of being pregnant. I don't "feel" pregnant,is that a sign?

Your level should double every 2 days. Their is no way for you to check this at home. As for the breast tenderness, some women's symptoms go away, or they don't have any at all. Just because you don't feel pregnant doesn't mean your going to miscarry. Although it is possible, you have no way of knowing that unless your OBGYN checks your levels again today. You should contact your OB if you have concerns, not the people on Yahoo! Answers, we are not doctors.

I have been pregnant 3 times, 1 of which ending up in a miscarriage and the other 2 ok. First rule of advice, TRY NOT TO WORRY ABOUT MISCARRYING!! The woman's body is a crazy thing and every woman has a different experience with ever different pregnancy. I'm sure your ok and its perfectly normal to 'not feel pregnant', especially at only 5 weeks. The baby right now is smaller then a sesame seed, so there's not even much in there to make you feel pregnant. Hang in there and don't worry so much, it'll be ALOT easier and safer pregnancy!

Only be concerned if your HCG level goes down or if you start bleeding and getting cramps like you are gonna start your period. These are signs of a miscarriage. You might not "feel" pregnant because you are only five weeks. I didn't "feel" pregnant until I felt my baby move for the first time. If there was a problem with your levels I'm sure that your Dr. would have said something. Congrats and I hope everything goes well for you.

Every woman has different hormone levels during different parts of pregnancy. If your doctor wasnt concerned about your levels you shouldnt be either. You might have ovulated later than you expected and be off by a week or so.

Its okay to not feel pregnant.

the first three months are always touch and go for everyone, the only thing you can do is first relax, not whoring is easier said then done I know, I say as long as their is no spotting (bleeding) things should be ok. write down any other ? you mite have and take them to your doc. they are the best ones to answer them. good luck.
